Residents of Punta Galeras Beach Condominiums will be able to enjoy the wonderful climate of the Las Galeras coastal area and have access more than five kilometers of beautiful white sand beaches and turquoise waters. This area near the eastern tip of the Samana Peninsula has not yet become overtaken with all-inclusive resorts where crowded beaches inhibit social separation. Punta Galeras, on the other hand, offers a true enjoyment of nature and the ecological surroundings. Boat trips to Playa Rincón, Playa Frontón, Playa Colorada, La Playita and Playa Madama are available at the Las Galeras main beach. Playa Grande, Madama and Fronton are also great hiking destinations. Humpback whale season is the peak season with most tourists visiting from the month of January until mid-April. There are three dive sites currently in the area. Las Galeras Divers, The Dive Academy and Scuba Libre.
