This development land parcel is located on the Samana Peninsula on the northeast coast of the Dominican Republic. It is situated on the Bay of Samana between the Arroyo Barril International Airport and the city of Samaná. Arroyo Barril is an executive-type airport for small to medium size airplanes with a spacious passenger terminal and observation deck.  It is a great airport to maintain a small airplane for exploring different areas around the country.

The El Catey Samana International Airport is approximately 25 minutes to the west and has a 12,000 foot paved runway for use by wide-body jets from around the world. This development site contains 2 separate parcels that are split by the main highway on the southern side of the Samana Peninsula. The images below illustrate a possible multi-family master plan.

To many, the Samaná Peninsula is still undiscovered. Many locals consider the Samaná Peninsula to be a diamond in the rough. Most everyone knows about Punta Cana to the south and it is interesting to note that there are currently many excursions from Punta Cana tourists that come to the Samana Peninsula. They come north to Samaná for it’s natural beauty and plentiful things to do and explore. It’s only a matter of time for the Samaná Peninsula to be the primary tourist destinations with occasional excursions south to Punta Cana.
